Straighten Up and Fly Right! An unforgettable tribute to Nat King Cole was an excellent show. The music hit the right note with our guests. Finding the best music for a casino event can be a difficult task. Straighten Up and Fly Right couldn’t have been a better choice; guests sang along, danced and raved about how much they enjoyed Maurice Jacox as Nat King Cole.
I would recommend this act for any casino venue wishing to create an experience that will bring patrons back to the property and drive more trips. They were great!

Dear Bob,
Thank you so much for bringing “Straighten Up and Fly Right!” to the Capitol Theatre in Aberdeen. It was a wonderful run of five performances. The cast and crew were great to work with and the musicianship was truly “unforgettable.”
Although the show had good attendance we are still hearing from people who were unable to attend but heard about the show.
I wish you the best with the future of this “Unforgettable Tribute to Nat King Cole.”

Dear Bob,
Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed your Nat King Cole Tribute, “Straighten Up and Fly Right” at the Big Top Chautauqua last Sunday. It was a wonderful combination of beloved hit songs and some dialogue about this well loved artist. Maurice Jacox’s voice was beautifully reminiscent of Nat’s velvety, warm, full sound.
We were pleased with the attendance; and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the variety of sounds created…jazz trio, big band, intimate love songs… all of his greatest hits. Thank you for such a fine show!

STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT!
Dear Bob,
I just had to write and thank you for a tremendous performance in celebration of Nat King Cole’s music and life. It was obvious by the resounding applause that all in attendance enjoyed the concert. I was especially impressed with the musical tightness of the band, and the relaxing demeanor of Maurice Jacox as he took the audience across the decades of Cole’s life.
Straighten Up and Fly Right is truly an unforgettable performance. The incredible depth and breadth of your research on Nat King Cole came through at every juncture in the performance. And what an amazing cast of musicians and singers, from bassist Bob Galombeck and guitarist Blaire Krivinek to drummer Rey Rivera and saxophonist Steve Sonmore all of the group played their hearts out on every song. What a pleasant surprise to see one of our favorite Wisconsin singers Colleen Raye along side the remarkable Liz Cummings.
From start to finish, the performance was a hit –filled musical thrill ride through the career of an American icon. Thank you again for bringing this great performance to the Mabel Tainter. We look forward to your next musical venture and wish you the very best of fortune with Straighten Up and Fly Right!
